Don’t Lose Yourself by Letting Go
Don’t confuse letting go with forgetting, erasing, or pretending something didn’t matter, didn’t happen, or wasn’t significant. Learn to let go and treat it as an act of kindness and respect. Show respect for what it was and what it did for you. Show kindness because it fuels who you are becoming. Understanding these distinctions are more important than you may realize.
Learning to release what no longer fits into our lives, into our peace, into our relationships, into our well-being overall means to create room for the alignment and balance of our lives in the present and who we want to become moving forward. When your future looks bright because you have now found your position in it, trust me, you will need all the room you can find. This is what we want. We want new room and new space and we do not do this by ditching the past. We are free to continue to feel deeply about those moments that have defined our past (good and bad). But we need a clean and fresh slate to move forward. And, if you see the Kind Rebirth pathway, you have this opportunity to retune and realign all the time, anytime, any, and everywhere. Life has blessed us benevolently.
All of this said, please, don’t forget that we do not need to act as if our past never existed or that things never happened. That’s counterproductive and contrary to the message. What it does ask is that you release that weight that has been and is burdening you and slowing you down because you have not set it down. It is not an easy path and will take a lot of patience and courage. But I trust you and I believe in you. I believe in your strength and it’s easy for me to do this because we are all connected.
To let go is not the start of the ending. It is the start of a new beginning. So let’s rebirth kindly.
Stay mindful…
