The Return You Can Feel
There is something special about the early mornings that just feels familiar and comfortable for me. It’s not just the light, but it’s about what it represents. It arrives consistently without announcement and with out pretension. The way it shows up is revealing. It reveals what was already there before. It doesn’t force things to happen. It just shows up and when it does, it’s representative of a start, of a new beginning for the day.
Similarly, the Easter holiday carries that same feeling. It speaks loudly to resurrection and to rising and to a life returned. This much holds true. But for many, that meaning is a deeply, deeply spiritual connection and something that is held with the utmost reverence and respect. From a Kind Rebirth lens, there is also something special that lives in this space that we can also find some recognition in. Specifically, it’s the return of something that at least for a moment had left us.
Even in that moment of a seeming departure, it was never abandonment. It still lives within us. It still resides within us. It still remained part of our fundamental nature. In the times where something in us felt off, disconnected, or unclear….without a defining moment, we find that spirit back within us, ever-present all over again. This time we find it with a little more awareness. That kind of return doesn’t ask for attention. It doesn’t announce itself as transformation. But it is movement. It doesn’t rush. It simply arrives. In that arrival, we experience a shift.
Easter is the ultimate reminder of resurrection and rebirth in its highest meaning. But it offers more, something we can recognize more closely with more appreciation. It offers a return to whom we were and the paths that were meant for each of us to follow.
So today, as Easter is honored and remembered, allow yourself to sit with what resurrection feels like—not just in meaning, but in your own life. Not as something you have to reach for, but as something you may already recognize. In the quiet ways you’ve returned or in the moments you’ve risen again.
Stay Mindful…
